How to get to Rancho Santana?
Most guests fly into Managua, Nicaragua Airport , rent a 4x4 and drive to Rancho Santana. Managua airport is serviced by American Airlines, Continental Airlines & Delta Airlines with direct flights from Miami, Houston or Atlanta to Managua. Rancho Santana is a 2.5 to 3 hour drive from Managua. You can also fly into the Costa Rican capital of Liberia (just 50miles south of the Ranch) Learn more here.
Can I rent a car at Rancho Santana?
There are no car rental agencies at Rancho Santana. However, most Car Rental agencies will arrange a “pick-up/drop-off “ at Rancho Santana if you desire.
Is a rental car or truck necessary during my stay at Rancho Santana?
Most guests arrive via rental car and choose to have a rental car during the duration of their stay. Rancho Santana is very large (3000 Acres and 5 kilometers of coastline) and a rental car allows the freedom to view all parts of the Ranch.
What activities are there to do at Rancho Santana?
Rancho Santana has five beaches and 3000 acres of property. Many guests enjoy surfing, fishing, snorkeling, horseback riding, yoga, bocce ball or horseshoes. Other guests enjoy relaxing by the clubhouse pool, cooking up some fresh fish or getting a massage at the Glow Spa. For more information on guest activities, click here.
 Eating. Where can I eat at Rancho Santana?
The Restaurant at the Clubhouse is the most popular spot to eat at Rancho Santana. The Restaurant features a mixture of American/Nicaraguan cuisine with a focus on local & seasonal ingredients. Check out the restaurants own blog site here.

US$15

breakfast,

lunch

for
dinner
(prices

not
include
food
costs).

What about drinking water?
Rancho Santana’s water is provided by 9 fresh
water wells located on the ranch. Each well is
tested monthly and maintained to U.S. standards.
Bottled water is available, but we encourage
you to take advantage of our water bottle refill
service (for a nominal fee) at the Clubhouse
Restaurant. By refilling your water bottle (and
using it again), you will help us to reduce the
amount of waste created and reducing the
amount of trash that can end up on the
beaches of Southwest Nicaragua.
Groceries & Supplies. Where can I buy groceries or supplies at Rancho Santana?
The “Old Stable Market” is located 200 meters from the Clubhouse (at the Old Horse Stables) is open 7 days a week for groceries and supplies. Food/supplies procurement services are also availablle.
Internet. Is there Internet Connection at Rancho Santana?
All houses, condos & casitas have Internet connection. There is also free wireless Internet at the Clubhouse for all guests.
Babysitting. Does Rancho Santana provide any babysitting services?
Our Front Desk can arrange babysitting. Prices are as follows:
English Speaking Babysitter: $10 an hour per 1 child, $15 an hour per 2 children, $20 an hour per 3 children, $30 an hour for 4 children. Extra hours add $5 an hour.

Are pets permitted?
Pets are not permitted at any property managed by Rancho Santana Vacation Rentals. Guests will be subject to eviction without return of rental payment if pets are found in properties managed by Rancho Santana Vacation Rentals.
